At Speak Up Space we recognise that everyone is different. We understand that many young people like to access support in different ways. Our website gives you five ways that you can ask for help with whatever you are experiencing. Click on each section and find the link to the right help for you.
If you require help or advice please click on the blue circle in the bottom right hand corner and you can chat with us when we are around.

Kelly’s legacy was set up in memory of Kelly Burndred who took her own life after struggling with her own mental health for many years. Kelly’s legacy was formed by Kelly’s family and friends whose aim is to help anyone who maybe suffering from or affected by issues surrounding mental health. They have organised various events across Staffordshire to raise awareness and fundraise for Younger Mind. Incredibly in only a few months Kelly’s legacy had raised enough money to fund the www.speakupspace.co.uk website, including the instant messaging service.
Talk to us
If you want to talk to someone and share your thoughts log-in for a 1-2-1 chat. You can talk to us about anything and we can listen, try to help you understand how you feel, find coping strategies and offer support. Nothing is too small – share the small things before they become too big.
All we need to get started is:
A Nickname for you.
The Town that you live in.
Once you’ve signed up you can use these details to log in each time you want to chat to us online.
We are around on Wednesdays (4-8pm) and Thursdays (4-9pm) to chat with you.
Speak up space offers a confidential service to young people, unless there is a disclosure of information that we feel is of concern. We will always be as open and honest with you as we can and offer you as much choice as possible over what happens next (if anything) to ensure you get the right support.
